FAQs
How do I start using these new features?
Your volunteers will automatically get these new features if they already use the MSP mobile app. To download or update, visit the App Store or Google Play Store.
Which services and ministries will show up on the Full Schedule? Can I control that?
By default, the Full Schedule tab will show all future services, and ministries that are not private. To make changes to what is displayed you can use the {{AllAvailablePositions}} token options.
Can I check a volunteer in from the MSP app?
No. In order to check a volunteer in, you will need to use the MSP Kiosk. Once a volunteer is checked in through the Kiosk, it will appear as such in the Full Schedules tab of the volunteer app.
When my volunteers click on a link in their email, it opens the Web Terminal instead of the app. How can they fix this?
First, make sure the MSP app is downloaded on their iPhone or Android device. Also make sure when they open the app, they are logged in. Then try the link again.
How can I view these features during a trial period?
To view the app during a trial period, first gather these pieces of information:

Organization ID: This can be found in the Licensing pane of MSP where it says Organization Web Identifier.
Username and Password: Select a volunteer who you want to view the app as.

Go to the Web Terminal pane and click “Login As” at the bottom. Select the volunteer on the list so they are highlighted in blue. Below the list of volunteers you will now see their username and password.

Now download the app on your iPhone or Android device and log in using the information above.
